The event's media coverage reached over 8,500 viewers, enhancing community engagement and awareness.
- Gymbox Initiative: Since 2019, over 1,000 community members have engaged in regular exercise routines, improving their physical and mental health. The program has become a community hub, creating jobs and fostering social connectivity.
- Research Insights: Findings from research partner Signe Dalsgaard highlight the impact of sports-based programs on community health and gender perceptions. These insights are guiding GSP's program enhancements, ensuring they are evidence-based and culturally sensitive.
- Program Expansion: GSP plans to expand the Gymbox program by constructing new units in schools and churches across Papua New Guinea, providing more communities with access to fitness facilities and health education.
- Funding and Resources: The organisation will seek diverse funding streams to ensure financial sustainability, investing in infrastructure and skilled personnel to support program effectiveness.
- Cultural Sensitivity and Adaptation: GSP will continue to adapt its programs based on research and community feedback, ensuring they meet the specific needs of diverse communities in PNG.
